ulysses is most infamous for having been kidnapped/chosen by the Thing In The Woods a few months back; he spent nearly three days wandering the forest in a fugue state while the school freaked out looking for him. the feds were called in as part of the aftermath. it was a huge deal for cricket (she was actually hysterical and had to be given a calming draught), obviously, as they're really close and everyone was worried/low-key thought ulysses was dead. but ulysses was found! and now he mostly pretends it never happened. so that's something jeremy would know!
