I went to Cork once and it was like the Osaka of Ireland (aka I was like WHY AM I HERE) and I was wondering if like.
You had been there and had different experiences but apparently you lived there so you probably have a better idea of it is, indeed, just kinda whatever boring or is just like, a secret gem that I did not uncover?
cork is a perfectly nice city but like ... just not that exciting, lol. it has gotten more exciting over the last few years! a lot more restaurants and bars and cool young people things have moved in as the population has grown. but it's still... not dublin. i'm quite fond of it despite it being a dull little town, but honestly, when i lived there, the highlight of my week was getting a particularly choice sambo @ the english market. so.
adisngaisdng ok I like. Felt really bad when people would be like: SHOULD I GO TO CORK and I would just sort of ehhhhhhh them away from it. I feel even less bad now knowing that you have similar opinions and you for reals lived there instead of like me who just blew through and passed judgement on it 8) It's hard not to have some love for everywhere you've lived, even if it's the Osaka of Ireland loll
